Features
No-Cam Freerace
With an outline coming straight from the RS:RACING development program, the SPEEDSTER is an explosive performance Freeride Sport sail. More user friendly than a cam sail (easier to rig, uphaul or jibe), the Speedster is more balanced and offers greater performance and wind range than a classic freeride sail.
The tubular battens allow the center of efforts to remains in place while the pro le delivers an exhilarating combination of performance, speed and acceleration.
Slalom without Cambers.
FEATURES
- Custom laminated clew for optimized strength and load distribution. It features internally laminated Kevlar stripes that distribute the point loads found in the Clew area.
- Integrated Batten Pocket construction for a fully symmetrical batten cavity.
- Race-inspired Luff curve and compact outline ensuring high skin tension and fast re ex for maximum acceleration and top-end speed.
- Pronounced shaping in the bottom of the sail for maximum drive and power.
- Wide sleeve in the middle to upper section for a clean aerodynamic pro le and easy mast insertion.
- Component battens: Six tubular-batten con guration reducing weight while giving optimum pro le shape and stability. One-rod bottom batten for deep foot pro le and durability.
