New stuff of 2020 for men is a CAPSULE MEN collection.
In this collection you can find a harness, wetsuit, poncho, rash vest and a good looking neoprene lycra (two of them actually)- one with zipper in the front, one without.
Very new is also Long John 2.5 and a Monoshorty 2.0 DL or 0.5 DL. Those two wetsuits are perfect for the summer days, because they have no sleeves.
What about rib protection?
New COLLISION VEST CORE. It has a front zip for easy entry.
Buying the right wetsuit is almost as important as buying the gear for your awesome water sport.
For sure you can rent a wetsuit or better not, because you never know who was making pee-pee in it before you dressed up for the occasion.
Anyway, you are a big guy and big guys don't cry, they only wet the suit in the right way- in the water.
If you are still a big guy while reading this then continue with reading because there's the whole ION wetsuit collection waiting for you. But if you are skinnier and flexible as a ninja then skip to part two where there is an ONYX selection of wetsuits for you.
Made for guys with wider biceps, hips, thighs and lower legs.
For the guys who struggle to suit up and the ones who love some extra protection on shins and ribs.
If we are precise we can tell you there are exactly 64 wetsuits out there. Yes, you heard right!
Different colors, thickness, material and style.
As every year, there is also this year selection from:
Some with a hoodie, some without.
Some with front zip, some without.
We’re in love with warm wetsuits that have a front zip; we also think those are the ones worth to mention.
*FZ (front zip)
*SS (short sleeves)
*LS (long sleeves)
And yes, we do think the chest zip is very important. If you don’t know why...read our thought.
If you're wearing the back zippered wetsuit it means that wetsuit is manufactured from at least two parts. More parts there is - less comfortable and flexible it is.
And in case you don't know …
about water coming in easily through your neck (back zip).
What a nightmare on those icy days!
A little bit of technology...
On the outside, they are made from the most flexible lining available.
Dry grid absorbs less than 30 percent of water. Because of this , they are lighter and the cooling with the evaporation is reduced.
Neoprene foam (I_foam) is very lightweight, stretchy and good with insulating heat.
On the inside of a wetsuit, there is a large area of Plasma_Plush 2.0 which makes the body warm and has the ability of quick dryness.
On the sleeves, there is silk stuff material which gives more comfort to the suit.
Maki Tape 2.0 is protecting the seems on the inside of the wetsuit (lower body).
They are also a hell of good wetsuits with only one minor downer comparing to Strike AMP.
They aren’t as flexible from the chest area down as the Strike AMP.
A little bit of technology...
The neoprene foam is S_type (standard type), but very ecologically made. It means that the wetsuits are made from limestone instead of the oil.
On the inside of a wetsuit is Hot Stuff 2.0 which gives warmth and flexibility. Silk stuff material is tailored on the lower legs and sleeves.
The seems? MAKI TAPE 2.0 on crotch and knees.
Made for water addicts who are twisting, popping and jumping all over the place.
But seriously made for guys with thinner waist, hips, thighs and lower legs.
Wearing an Onyx wetsuit is like having a second skin on. It has minimized panel design and greater freedom of movement.
But all of that you already know.
What you don't know is that this year ION is offering exactly 38 wetsuits made especially for ”jumping” people.
Of course that all of them have a front zip! There is also one which is without. Zipless:
*NZ: no zip
What a great creation. I bet you want to try it?
